Why should you care about #MenopauseAtWork? 1️⃣ According to the Faculty of Occupational Medicine UK, nearly 8 out of 10 menopausal women are in work 2️⃣ 1 in 4 could experience serious symptoms that hinder their ability to work 3️⃣ 1 in 3 of the workforce will soon be over 50 (the average age to experience menopause) 4️⃣ There have already been successful employment tribunals against employers who fail to support and accommodate menopausal employees... Rather than letting menopause be a workplace taboo, employers, managers and colleagues should treat #menopause like any other health condition and have open, supportive conversations with their teams...
