A simple "hello" with eye contact can create a powerful connection, letting someone know you see them as a person of value and worth. Treating others with dignity is a POWERFUL gift. 2. Consider donating water, hygiene products, clothing, or other needed items to our Mission. We provide these items to our guests in need. 3. "The Agape Center is different." We hear that from so many of the clients we serve. And we get to tell them that the "difference" is God. They're seeing Jesus in the people volunteering at Agape. Please join us! There are so many ways to help! 1. PRAY for this ministry. For those being served and those who are serving. 2. DONATE gently used or new items that we need or donate money to purchase them. 3. VOLUNTEER to serve once a month or on Tuesdays or Thursdays. 4. WRITE our newsletters to keep the public and our donors aware of what's happening. 5. BECOME a grant writer to find funds to help us afford to continue serving our community. 6. DRIVE a client who has no transportation to and from an appointment, getting to know them and offering encouragement. There are examples of SOOOO many ways to help. Tag Day is our community event where we raise awareness and funds to continue offering vital treatment and support services. How You Can Help: 1. Volunteer on Tag Day: Join us as a Tag Day Ambassador, helping to distribute tags throughout Bermuda. Volunteering your time allows us to connect with the community and secure critical funds to continue our therapeutic work. Sign up now! Visit Tag Day - Sign Up 2. Host a Denim Day at Your Organization: If you're unable to volunteer on Tag Day, consider hosting a Denim Day at your workplace or within your community group. We are asking a minimum donation of $5.00 per participant, employees or members that choose to dress down or wear denim on the day. This is a powerful way organizations can help to support our mission and raise critical funds to help those in need. 3. Organize a Volunteer Group to’ Take Over’ A Tagging Station: Rally your colleagues, friends, or organization members to volunteer as a group. It is fun and great team-building opportunity.
