Happy #TongueOutTuesday: Meet Lynx! 🐾 Hey there, I'm Lynx! At first, I might seem a little nervous, but don’t let that fool you. My greatest desire? Getting lots and lots of scritches! If you sit quietly with me and offer some treats, I'll quickly warm up and show you my love for pets. When you pet above my tail, I can't help but show off my 'elevator booty.' And those tiny biscuits I make with my front paws? That's just my way of saying, "More pets, please!" The best part? I love crawling into laps for extra snuggles. Ready to fall in love? Visit me at the Santa Rosa Campus or call 707-542-0882 to learn more. Can't wait to meet you! 💖 💻: https://lnkd.in/gyh328hN #AdoptDontShop #FureverHome #HumaneSocietySoco #HSSC #CommittedToKindness #AdoptLocal #AdoptAShelterCat #Lynx #BootyScritches #ElevatorBooty #SillyCat #SonomaCounty #SocoAdoptables

THE POWER OF AN ORGANIZED TEAM- Example - If you throw a stone🪨 at a dog 🐶, it will run away in fear, even if you throw that stone on a 🐄cow, it will also run away in fear, but the same stone if you throw on the lick of a bee then 🐝🐝🐝??? you will not throw......😨🥲 why❓❓❓❓ Because bees live in swarms, they live together and work together. 🤝 Hence, This is the power of living in the organized team that we are afraid of a small animal like a bee, while we are not afraid of a big animal like a dog or cow. #team #teamspirit #work #togetherness #organisedteam #example #thanks

“Great progress for bébé.” - Moira Rose Springtime means baby animals, including bison! Young bison are often referred to as “red dogs” because when they’re born, their fur is orange and red in color. After a few months, the hair changes to a dark brown and they get the characteristic shoulder hump and horns. You’re on your way baby bison! Rock onwards and upwards! As cute and fuzzy as they are, remember to give wildlife room and to use a zoom. Always maintain a distance of at least 100 yards (91 m) away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards (23 m) away from all other animals, including bison and elk. Get a closer look by using binoculars, spotting scope, or a zoom lens. Learn more about bison at: https://lnkd.in/gG4jh6Es Image: Young bison calf (red dog) at Yellowstone.

Broker of Record / Owner at Insider Condos Inc. Pre-Construction Specialists in the Greater Toronto Area
They say dogs often resemble their owners, but can they start to sound like the neighborhood fire truck too? 🚒 Meet Moose, a chocolate Lab whose howl is more 'firefighter' than 'Fido'. Lynn Gulliver captured this howl-arious moment with a video that's sure to light up your day! Here's why Moose's talent isn't just fetching—it's a siren call to creativity in our lives: - Routine is comforting, but the unexpected, like a canine convincingly mimicking a fire truck, reminds us to embrace the quirky and spontaneous. - Animals continue to surprise us, reflecting traits we believe uniquely human, such as the gift of imitation. It begs the question: What other talents do our pets have under their collars? 🐾 I predict that we're on the cusp of recognizing a whole new layer to animal intelligence, and Moose is the perfect mascot for this exploration. If Moose's siren song has you thinking about the undiscovered potential in the world around us, let's connect and chat about the other surprising talents hiding in plain sight! 📢 Feel free to reach out on LinkedIn or at insidercondos.com for a 'pawsome' conversation. #PetTalents #Creativity #FireTruckChallenge #LabradorRetriever #AnimalIntelligence #DailySurprise

Clustering is like a fun way of organizing things based on how much they are alike. It helps people quickly find and understand different groups of things, just like putting all your favorite candies in their own special bunches! Grouping Animals: Imagine you have a bunch of pictures of animals, and you want to put similar animals together. Clustering helps people organize these pictures into groups, like putting all the cats in one group and all the dogs in another. Sorting Colors: Let's say you have a lot of crayons with different colors. Clustering can help you organize them by putting similar colors in groups, like all the shades of blue in one group and all the shades of red in another. Organizing Clothes: Sometimes, when you have a lot of clothes, you can use clustering to group similar clothes together. For example, putting all your T-shirts in one group and all your jackets in another.

👉🏻It sounds like you're describing a scenario where a monkey is trying to protect a cat from something. 👉🏻 Monkeys can be protective of smaller animals, especially if they form a bond or perceive a threat. 👉🏻It could make for an interesting story or observation of interspecies behavior. 👉🏻That's a heartwarming scenario! Interactions between different species can sometimes lead to unexpected bonds. 👉🏻 It's not uncommon for animals to form friendships or show affection towards one another, regardless of their species. 👉🏻It's a beautiful reminder of the interconnectedness of life. #love #loveanimals #catandmonkey #struggling #help

It was so hot today that you could see squirrels #sploot on top of rocks… Though it sounds like something out of the same generational jargon containing the likes of #rizz and #skibidiohio, splooting is actually a term used for describing the behavior of an animal laying prone with it’s legs and arms sprayed back. The term is so frequently used it has shown up in university white papers and biology text books. Splooting behavior is attributed to an attempt by the animal to cool their body temperatures in high heat. By resting as flat as possible on a cool surface in a shaded area the animal is hoping to transfer the radiant heat of their body with the cool surface below them, bringing some comfort on a high heat day. Not just squirrels have been seen splooting in our area, raccoons, woodchucks, fox, coyote, and even our pets will find a cool patch of ground and sprawl themselves out. So if you drive past 350 East Main and see me sprawled out in the carport, don’t worry… I am just cooling off because we are out of Klondike bars in the employee fridge. Stay cool, stay hydrated, stay safe folks. #wildlifecontrol #wildlifemanagement #animalcontrol #animalremoval #pestcontrol #wildliferemoval #pestremoval #protectcincy #huntsmanwildlife #cincinnati #animaldamage #wildlifedamage #pestdamage #ohio #cinci #cincy #cincylocal #cincylife #cincyrealestate #localcincinnati #513_cincinnati #familybiz

Project: Stuffed Animal Wall Metrics of Success: 🧱 Ingegrity - were there gaps? Carefully-selected patching was done. 💞 Inclusion - beloved stuffies were all present and there was good representation from across the animal kingdom. 🌅 Durability & Longevity - Did the structure last the projected time (til the morning)? It did. Are your key indicators of success as well defined as these? Mine often aren’t, so I’m taking notes 🤣 #metricsthatmatter #successionplanning #successdefined #success #kpi #wishingyoujoy #parenthood

🐍 Introducing: The Tiger Snake Sleuth – summer video series with Melbourne-based tiger snake expert, Tim Caldwell. 🤝 This summer, we have partnered with snake sleuth extraordinaire @TimCaldwel to bring you a weekly insight into the life and times of the humble tiger snake (Notechis scutatus): a greatly feared and very misunderstood native animal that is listed as ‘vulnerable’. 🎥 Each week, we will share a video of Tim’s, accompanied by an educational message written by him especially for this series. Throughout each video, Tim’s jovial commentary sheds a unique light on the snake/s featured (some he even has nicknames for) and will help us understand more about these incredible survivors. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Tim has years of experience tracking, following and filming tiger snakes. We advise that you do not try this yourself. 👨 A little about Tim: Back in early 2011, while on an afternoon walk along the Yarra River, a tiger snake slid down the steep slope beside Tim and skidded to a halt beside his foot. This unexpected and exciting close encounter triggered in Tim an enduring fascination. In his mind, snakes had always been things that just sat in the grass being vaguely dangerous; but this one seemed busy and was obviously on some kind of mission. It was far more eager to return to its mysterious activity than to be the least bit threatening. Tim had never really wondered what snakes actually ‘did’, and he suddenly yearned to get to know them: to solve some mysteries and uncover a few secrets. It turned out that, with practice, it was possible to find active tiger snakes fairly reliably, and that many of them were even willing to allow Tim to stay in very close proximity to them and respectfully follow them around during their day's activities. More than twelve years later Tim’s still fascinated, and most other aspects of his life are pushed into the periphery to allow him to spend time with his intriguing friends. 👉 Tim would love you to follow all his snakey adventures over on his Facebook page https://lnkd.in/gShqM93V 🎬 Stay tuned for the first video tomorrow! #tigersnakes #protectvulnerablespecies #snakesmatter #misunderstood #EEV #lovesnakes
