Being on the job market I don’t get how many companies when hiring for experienced Recruiters/TAS they want someone with specific experience in their industry. ✅ A good experienced recruiter can recruit anyone in any industry. If you can recruit one person you can recruit anyone. ✅ How many good employees are they missing out on because they don’t have experience in a specific industry? ✅ Just because someone doesn’t have high volume recruiting, staffing, in house or search firm experience doesn’t mean they can’t do it. ✅ Just because someone doesn’t have experience in IT, Sales, Real Estate, Healthcare, Accounting, Manufacturing, ect…doesn’t mean they can’t recruit in it. ✅ Recruiters aren’t call center reps, the goal is to find good qualified candidates not to make 50-100 calls a day. ✅ Give people a chance they might surprise you and become a great employee! ✅ Energy, attitude, and passion go a long way with the right person. I kid....🤔 But seriously, Recruiters are Superheroes. We beat our heads against the wall searching for and reaching out to candidates in the hope that they will give us two minutes to tell them about a great opportunity. We get "ghosted" frequently. We are often unfairly viewed as unethical trolls who will say and do anything to make a buck. Then we get up and do it again the next day.
