We're kicking off a deep dive on third-party delivery today with a look at BATCHED DELIVERIES. 👇 🚗 A secret shopper study conducted by Intouch Insight found that while consumers were overall quite satisfied with the big three delivery apps, batched deliveries were a problem. 🚗These multi-stop deliveries tended to take much longer and correlated with lower food quality and customer satisfaction scores. 🚗They were also fairly common: 12% of transactions ended up getting batched. 🚗The issue for restaurants is, there's no way to opt out of being included in a batched delivery. Customers can pay extra to avoid it.
