This is so true Holly Hunt. I was speaking to a Mum at a Mother’s Day breakfast yesterday that mentioned her work doesn’t allow any flexibility, which means her daughter can’t do any extra curricular activities after school and she’s really struggling with that. Such a small shift of policy would allow her to balance her priorities. Still to a quick voice up and drop off and do great work! Interestingly, none of the leaders have kids so can’t fully appreciate the juggle. They’ve also experienced HUGE staff turnover. I believe that looking deeper at the impacts of flexibility will benefit all!
