We discussed #HR trends for 2024, changes in the positioning of HR in business (#HRBP) and sustainability issues, as well as differences in views on the same function. We also shared thoughts on the causes of #burnout and ways of #copping and #selfsupport. We also discussed the importance of employee #engagement in the workplace, as well as possible strategies for achieving this #goal. We talked about the significance of diversity and inclusion management #DEIB in the company, particularly in light of changing employee requirements and expectations. Additionally, we discussed the use of technology and #automation in HR processes and how it might change the role of HR professionals in the future. How long have you been a member of Cville SHRM?  ·      Nine years (was a guest for five years prior to that). 2. Why did you join Cville SHRM?  ·      As an occasional guest over several years and our company finally recognizing HR as a needed department, I saw more of a need to learn more and grow with local HR community. 3. What’s your favorite part of being a member of Cville SHRM?  ·      The great presentations and fellow HR sharing. 4. What is your current occupation? ·      Benefits, Employee relations, FMLA, workers comp and more. 5. What do you love most about job?  ·      The people connection and being able to help others. 6.
