After 10 years and 4 months, last December 18, was my last day working with ADNOC Sour Gas. New horizons are about to begin.
I did not want to let this opportunity pass without thanking, first of all, all my coworkers, especially those who worked very closely with me in the 2 disciplines in which I was (Inspection Engineering and Reliability Engineering)
*- the multidisciplinary team,
*- the Project and Plant Shutdown teams and,
*- the Scenario-based Risk Assessment / Risk Mitigation team: I really appreciate your words "without you, our Risk Assessment sessions will not be the same", which I publicly reply back stating: without you, my future risk assessment sessions will not be the same.
It should be noted that, from my almost 18 years of post-graduation professional experience, I spent 10 uninterrupted years in this company, from its formation (Al Hosn Gas), mechanical completion project, plant start-up and process stabilization, to its transformation in 2017 (ADNOC Sour Gas) into a single ADNOC, which filled me with many professional friends and many learning experiences.
I don't want to close my words without first thanking:
Felix Yanez (Felix Espinoza Yanez)
Craig Graham
Ahmed Alzaabi
Larry Linares
Avinash Rampaul
Liam Frost, CEng MIMechE
as well as ADNOC Group
For the given opportunity to continue my professional development, all the support provided, teachings, and lessons learned
It is important to remember that the world of Oil, Refining, Petrochemical and Gas is as small as the palm of a hand. That's why I say, this is not goodbye but a "see you later".
Thank you!!!
