Are you a high end #architect who has faced this issue...? You design a stunning building for a client. An engineer then details your design, preparing it for construction. But when you get the construction cost, there's often a surprise. The design might miss certain details, like: where to place the air conditioning or the number of drawers in a cabinet or the thickness of a material that was not accounted for in a rendering and that now causes a practical problem. As a result, the estimated construction cost can exceed the budget. This may force you to redesign parts of the building, redo calculations, resulting in many wasted hours. The recently completed new Australian Embassy project in Washington, D.C., is a testament to architectural ingenuity and collaborative success. This project wasn't just about constructing a building; it was about crafting a symbol of Australian identity on foreign soil.
