The next chapter in the #hybridbydesign series, focusing on #ecosystems and how the journey to digital and hybrid cloud is one that is not travelled alone

Access to open source has been changing our IT world for decades. The pace of innovation accelerated with the advent of cloud computing, what we now call #hyperscalers. The innovation pace kicked into a higher gear with advent of digital assistants (think hey siri, ok google, hey alexa) that pervaded into our personal and professional lives. And just when we thought we were in the highest possible gear, the #GenAI event happened and in the past 2 years it has pushed the innovation pace into a hyper mode. And in that short span, many of us have stumbled into the "lets just hybridize it all" design pattern. And so we have the new hash tags trending #hybridbydesign and #hybridAI (coined by my colleague Ronit Marathe). This is proving to be the best way to survive and to drive continuous innovations at our respective organizations. Recently #IBV has published a very detailed study on the factors that both define and drive the organizational behavioral pattern we are seeing rapidly emerge - One of how why and where we can adopt and apply the mindset of "better together" be it with our cloud (hyperscaler) selections or with our AI or GenAI or LLM selections. Our latest thinking examines how #genAI technology is affecting enterprise technology spending patterns, and what tech services providers can offer to enterprise customers at different stages of #genAI adoption.
