In this ADWEEK article, they discuss the difficulty agency partners feel getting on the same page with their brand clients. One particular piece of the article jumped out at us: "[frustration was] cited around the need for better alignment toward a common goal and more effective communication" From our perspective, this reinforces the impact of those alignment challenges that are endemic in the marketing field. Like our commissioned Forrester Research found: 89% of marketing leadership said alignment was essential, yet only 1% felt they had it.
