He definitely is my all-time hero, since my uni days. Not only he was the greatest inventor of all times (considering the science in his time) but he also was very spiritual. His father was a priest, but he believed in his dreams and will power. The AC motors and genetors came to him in a flash of a moment, while walking along the river. Then he drew the concept in the sand and joyously exclaimed “it’s working it’s working!”. He believed some of his ideas were coming from out of this world. And today, we have the Tesla cars (and all other electric cars and machines) proving his vision is really working. If it wasn’t for Elon Musk, i doubt that non-texhnical people would even know his name. One of my favourity experiments he did was when he created electromagnetic standing waves from his tower in Long Island in 1901(!), using the planet as a gigantic conductor. Mind blowing how far he went all on his own… Every teenager should study him and use his work as an inspiration.

It is a pity that no one appreciated him while he was alive.

Hero of all time and my inspiration. I always find his invention stories interesting since childhood. I was weak in physics when i started to learn it in school but his stories motivate me to always be curious about science. happy birthday

Recently stayed at the New Yorker Hotel, near Times Square. And there were several tribute photographs+ to Tesla, in the basement. This said from someone who spent a year working in Schenectady, for GE Energy. With the ghost of Edison haunting me in my cubicle there! 👻⚡🇷🇸🇺🇸

He was a man of many ideas... it is quite unfortunate he did not live to witness the growth of some of these ideas.
