What a year it's been A bit more than a year ago, I decided to try out life as an consultant helping founders and CEOs going to market in a more repeatable and scalable way. Despite really missing working tightly together with my own team, I must admit it's been quite good first year, where I: 1. Got a much more flexible calendar allowing me to sit in the garden sunshine a bit more often in casual clothes :-) 2. Have met with tons of brillant people and really expanding my network both in size and quality 3. Learned that what we did at Playable is quite rare 4. Seen how hard scaling is for most founders and also 5. Learned that I really, really like sales + a lot more! So I'm up for 2nd year again trying to balancing out working with cool companies, having full flexibility and enjoying life. Soon it's all about a few weeks in Italy with my lovely family fueling me massively for the second half of the year! Have a great summer!

Trusted Talent Partner to the Innovation Economy. I Help You Acquire World-Class Talent across Strategy, Design, Product, Engineering, Sales & Marketing.
Starting the week with 5 big wins from last week 🎉: (Shoutout to our amazing team!) 1. Neil and Chelsea collaborated to place a Technical Product Manager at a late-stage travel startup. Fantastic teamwork! 2. Jared onboarded several new roles for founding designers. Kudos! 3. Chelsea and Alicia started searches for several agency clients looking for senior strategists and strategy directors. 4. Gigi reported significant progress for researchers and strategists at various agencies. 5. Personal highlight: moving office to Flatiron and having John rejoin the team! While we celebrate these wins, we’re also noticing some challenges as the market heats up: → GTM and Design talent demand is growing fast. → Demand for talent is up MoM but requirements are still very specific - we are starting to dip back into a talent-driven market. → With strong demand means talent retention is going to be center stage. Incredibly grateful to have a team who impresses me every week. I'm certain we'll be able to tackle upcoming challenges head-on. Here's to the new week ahead! Excited to see what it brings. Happy upcoming week, team and everyone else!

So much has been happening at DreamTeam these past few weeks The team’s growing fast, our developers are dropping new features left and right, and we’re reaching new highs 🚀 Working in a company like DreamTeam—an Israeli startup—every second counts. Hunger, adaptation, innovation, and resilience are key qualities needed to push repeated success when the framework for it is being built before our eyes. Everyday I get to hone these qualities with Noah Marks, Yuval Sidis, Alon Lesman, and Shiri Ruimi. Awesome getting to work alongside this fierce team 🔥 Each week’s success can be next week’s failure. Hence, why we show up early and leave late. Pivot on the spot. And test everything. Sure, “the process” this past month and a half has been a bumpy one. But what I remind myself everyday, is that all of my incredibly talented DreamTeam-mates, vetted and new, didn’t see their success overnight. They stayed hungry, adapted daily, innovated everything, and it’s a given this couldn’t be done without a shared resilience. :)

Today marks the first month of me joining…. soon to be revealed 🙂 I’ve been on the startup train a few times, but boarding this one feels incredibly different, and in a good way. Why? 1. People. All the folks I work with are what I consider triple threats: kind, intelligent, and humble. They make it comfortable for me to ask questions and add my two cents - without worrying about sounding “dumb”. 2. Product. It’s so exciting to witness going from nothing to something every day. Even more so, is watching the team make quick decisions, commit to improvements, and willingness to support each other. 3. Process. We are building those out as we speak! Everyone's input is taken into account, and we discuss test, and ensure they align with our culture. What's next? I'm hoping I can share more here on LinkedIn! Give me a 👍 if you think that's a good idea.

"One of the unifying themes of my career at Uber has been to 'grow where you're planted' — to really build the expertise over time, in your area, that makes you an asset to other teams and gets you invited to collaborate on problems and challenges that you might not otherwise have access to," shares Bob Rupp, Operations, below 👇 Explore how you can make your mark at Uber → https://lnkd.in/gZBJBEUu

Introducing Crescendo! 🎇 What started as a side project in my Stanford dorm room back in 2017, has now become my full time calling. We are here to help private software companies monetize better: better prices, better packages, better promotions. I think that pricing is the single greatest lever a growing software business can pull, and I'm excited to be helping founders and CEOs realize those dreams. Read more about why I started Crescendo in my latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/eim4MigC
