Their multifaceted approach involves developing resources, advocating for policy solutions, and conducting research to support maternal health equity. Initiatives include the use of AI tools for data analysis, promoting paid family leave, and convening experts for strategic action planning. The AAMC also responds to national calls to reduce maternal mortality, emphasizing collaboration across sectors to address these pressing health disparities.
