The Delegation of the European Union to India, in collaboration with The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (O/o PSA) to the Government of India, cordially extends an invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) from startups and SMEs based in the EU and India specializing in Electric Vehicle Battery Recycling Technologies. This is an exclusive opportunity for pioneering ventures from the EU to showcase their innovations at a high-profile matchmaking event organized under the auspices of the EU-India Trade and Technology Council (TTC). To seize this opportunity, stakeholders from both the EU and India will handpick six SMEs and start-ups. These selected entities will be supported in pitching their ideas to potential partners, customers, and investors. They'll also gain insights into the Indian and EU markets and explore business opportunities through a matchmaking event scheduled for June 20, 2024. Following this event, three SMEs/start-ups from each region will be competitively chosen to visit the Indian / EU market in the fall of 2024. This reflects the country's growing innovation ecosystem, driven by initiatives like Digital India, Startup India, and the Atal Innovation Mission. India is now ranked 1st in Central & Southern Asia, 4th globally in WIPO’s Science & Technology Cluster ranking, and 7th in intangible asset intensity.
