Insightly, an Unbounce company’s Post

We all know the saying, “Data doesn’t lie,” but here’s the secret not many people realize... Data 𝙘𝙖𝙣 and 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 mislead—maybe not on purpose (I don’t think it’s sentient) but by accident all the time. On that note: Hey, LinkedIn! Cheyenne Griffith here, Insightly's Head of Sales Enablement. I'm taking over Insightly's page today to talk about something I love...(you guessed it) data. 📊 Following data threads in Insightly CRM is a fun part of my job. Some high-level metrics I stay attuned to are: • TTC (Time to Close)  • ACV (Average Contract Value)  • Discounting (average reduction in price for our deals)  • Pipeline/Forecasting (how much $ can we expect to close)  • Win Rates (% of opportunities worked that are closed/won) These are the metrics that your leadership team cares about—the things that ultimately predict whether or not a sales team will meet its goals and attain its quota. 👉 In Sales Enablement, we call these “lagging metrics.” For me, these metrics highlight problems or areas for improvement, but they don’t tell me HOW to fix things. 👉 For that, I seek “leading metrics.” Metrics that “lead to” these high-level outcomes. I’m lucky that Insightly allows me access to data like: • SNEs (% of the opps with a Scheduled Next Event)  • STL (Speed to Lead - how quickly we connect with new leads)  • Time in Stage (how long our opps spend in each sales cycle stage)  • Lead Source Conversion Rates (which types of leads become opps at the highest clip) AND SO MANY MORE! At the end of the day, I get to figure out how to solve problems and help my team succeed. Understanding what 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙨 lagging metrics to suffer (or improve!) is absolutely essential to the success of our entire sales organization, and it is legitimately FUN! Fellow data nerds, what metrics are you tracking? How do you use them to drive outcomes?

Cheyenne - you already know this, but you've added so much value to the Insightly, an Unbounce company team. Your expertise and knowledge are unmatched. Without your willingness to collaborate and get things done, our PMM/CM team would not have been able to accomplish our goals. 🌟
