Could you be our new CEO? Things never stay the same, and that’s no different for IPWSO! Sadly, next year, Marguerite Hughes, our dedicated and passionate CEO, will be moving on. Marguerite has solidified IPWSO’s standing in the international community; her passion, dedication and commitment has enabled IPWSO to make huge strides and she’ll be leaving us with a strong vision and deeply embedded values that promote equality, global solidarity, collaboration, and evidence-based research. She will, no doubt, be sorely missed! Our job now is to find someone that can rise to the challenge of helping deliver IPWSO’s strategic plan with the support of our dedicated volunteers, experts, and small UK based staff team. Read Marguerite’s blog as she reflects on her role – the challenges and rewards - and if you’re inspired, are a strategic thinker with leadership experience, and, most importantly, have a commitment to promoting a more equal world for all those affected by PWS, we want to hear from you. Check out Marguerite’s blog: https://lnkd.in/eDibfAyx Find out more about the role and the application process: https://lnkd.in/evK9wj7w Contact Marguerite at mhughes@ipwso.org for an informal chat.

We couldn’t resist sharing some great insights from our teammate, Hope Sudol! When asked, “What’s the most rewarding part of working with multiple associations?” she shared some amazing takeaways. "Collaborating with clients across various associations has provided me with a diverse range of perspectives. Each industry presents its own unique challenges and problem-solving approaches, offering valuable insights into different methodologies." She also shared how long-term engagements have been particularly fulfilling: "One notable reward has been the opportunity to witness and contribute to the positive outcomes generated by these unique strategies. Watching associations grow and evolve over time has been immensely gratifying." "Engaging with a broad spectrum of associations keeps me continually engaged and learning. Each new project introduces fresh challenges and opportunities, ensuring my work remains dynamic and rewarding." These are just a few of our favorite quotes from her response! For Madhu, being a change leader is more than just a role. It’s a journey that brings her confidence and a true sense of belonging. But it wasn’t always this way. She’s been through those moments where she felt like she didn’t measure up or didn’t belong. We all go through that, don’t we? 💭 Madhu’s message to anyone feeling this way is simple: It’s okay. It’s part of the process, and you’ll come out stronger on the other side, just as she did. 🌱 #ChangeLeader #Empowerment #Confidence #Belonging #GrowthJourney #UandI

This was one of the first events I attended as an EmployIndy team member and it's still one of my favorite events each year. So what? I'll tell you what: 1.) If you're doing great things at your organization around DEIB, NOMINATE yourself!! Tell people about why it's important to you and what it means to be a great organization. 2.) Attend! If you aren't fully confident in where you are at on the DEIB journey, that's ok! Attending this event is such a great way to network with others and learn how you can move the needle. (Pst, I know some people that can help you with those goals too). REGISTER &/OR NOMINATE YOURSELF TODAY!! https://lnkd.in/g3z4x8Ke
