Continuing our focus on #SportsNutrition with this month's #NED #InfoBite on #MetabolicSyndrome and #Exercise. Download the A4 pdf here: https://lnkd.in/d3JcSEQF The BANT Nutrition Evidence Database (NED) is a valuable resource for Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioners, Medical Professionals and those working in nutrition science, education, and research. It is the UK’s first scientific database of human nutrition and lifestyle medicine research where you can find all the latest science without needing to extrapolate human from animal studies. The science is boosted by our #ExpertReview panel who review the research and provide clinical applications for practitioners to consider with their clients, helping to transform the science into actions. Read Chloe Steele's reviews in this infobite by clicking on the digital download hyperlinks. Our InfoBites are a great short format and quick read to give you an overview of the latest research on a chosen topic such as metabolic syndrome and exercise. These are helpful to share with clients to help educate, support clinical recommendations, to motivate and engage clients interested in the science, and/or support compliance with nutrition and lifestyle recommendation. For more #NED resources, visit bant.org.uk and click on the resources page. #BANT #NutritionEvidenceDatabase #NED #NEDInfoBite #NutritionScience #Evidencebased #Sciencebased #PersonalisedNutrition #LifestyleMedicine

With 61 patients experiencing primary floaters, the study showcased a remarkable 𝟳𝟳% 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 in reducing floaters over six months through targeted dietary intervention. 💬 We are now excited to announce that we are promoting the continuation of this research. Employing advanced statistical methodologies, FLIES 2 will assess the original data using new statistical approaches to explore the clinical relevance of the original results in more depth. Specifically, we are focusing on assessing the effect size of dietary intervention across diverse patient subgroups, aiming to discern potential personalized treatment modalities. https://lnkd.in/e8Kne22k #vitrocap #eyecare #eyefloaters #myodesopsia #medicalresearch #vitreous #eyedisease #spectralis #visionhealth
