Swimming pools can be notoriously difficult to keep comfortable. Heat rises away from the floor to the ceiling resulting in cold temperatures at lower levels and chilly, uncomfortable swimmers. Airius destratification continuously recirculates the warm air that rises to the ceiling back to the floor where it is needed, improving comfort at floor level. Of course, as with any numbers that can strongly affect an industry’s perception by its target market, not all free of bias. On the GHG side of things there are several unanimous findings though: Transport to and from ski resorts accounts for more than 50% of a skiing vacation’s entire emissions. On certain long haul flight- packages travel can cross the 90% mark. The region’s infrastructure with all its services (excluding accommodation but including artificial snowmaking) contributes around 20%.

Australia demonstrates its geographic diversity today with the country's temperature ranging from a low of minus 13.5 degrees (below zero Celsius) in the southern plateau of Tasmania, to a high of 31 degrees (above zero Celsius) in the Northern Territory.
