We are thrilled to announce that Maria Salamero Sansalvadó - Head of Sustainability at CELSA GROUP - will be moderating our end-of-Day 2 Panel Discussion at the upcoming ESG EUROPE Summit: Navigating the ESG Landscape! Maria will leverage her wealth of experience to moderate the discussion alongside other expert panellists, addressing the key topic: Is ESG a source of risk or an opportunity? Maria Salamero is an Industrial Engineer from the UPC and MBA from EADA. For 25 years she has been linked to different companies of the Agbar Group (water utility), exercising different functions and positions in the field of operations, technology, research and innovation and communication in the water sector. She has led the creation of technology centers and knowledge transfer and training at an international level. In the last five years, she has been the Director of Sustainability at Aigües de Barcelona, activating, among others, the first Sustainability Committee of the Board of Directors and the company's 2030 Agenda. Since September 1st 2022, she has been the new Head of Sustainability at Celsa Group, a family business created in 1967 that produces Circular & LowCarbon Steel, being the first industrial company in the steel sector in Spain and the second in recycling in Europe.
