We start this week with a new series on our social media profiles! 🔥🔥 In the application questionnaire, we asked Strong Women in IT 2023, if they could go back in time and give themselves one piece of advice at the beginning of their career, what would it be? 🤔 At the beginning, we will present advice from our Strong Woman, Izabela Duiwe - Customer Program Manager for CEE at Microsoft. 💪 🔹"Date your company, not marry it, and work with passion, but don't compromise too much. Know your boundaries and stand up for them. Adapt to your audience, speak up, and fight for your ideas surrounding yourself with supporters. 🔹 Seek out great managers and mentors who will support your growth. Not all cool managers will have your best interests in mind. Focus on defining yourself by your achievements and what makes you happy, rather than comparing yourself to others. You don't need to be on stage to be great leader. " 📥 You will find more recommendations from our Strong Women in the latest edition of our report. Download the report now from our website: https://lnkd.in/dr7Tc2rm What advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career? Share your advice with us in the comment! 👇👇 #SWinIT2023 #StrongWomeninIT #womenleadership #leadership #diversity #inclusion #career #community

“Date your company, not marry it” - this one raised some interesting side discussions :) I’ve got this from Miri Rodriguez on her amazing workshops on Storytelling and it made me rethink my approach.
