Early in my career, I used to think that working with a reputed brand should be the goal.   But, after making 3 switches in 5 years of my career, I have realized one thing.   That is, it is never about the brand you are working with.   In the initial few days after joining, you feel ecstatic in bragging about the brand you are working with.   But, in the long run, it is all about the work and the manager you are working with.   So, if you are changing your job, do your research on the quality of work you would be doing.   And find out about the work culture where you would be joining.

Do your employees demonstrate career paths on their LinkedIn profiles? Through your individual profiles you can demonstrate to potential new employees not only a similar career path that took them to where they are now BUT the opportunity to grow as one of your employees. Every company has a vision, because that's where the foundation is. If a company does not know where it is heading, does not have a future goal that it has set, it will never reach anywhere. Each and every person who want to start something, must have a vision for it, a plan for it and a goal for it. In as much as companies have a vision, you also as an individual let that be something that you have for yourself.
