Healthcare workers experience some of the highest rates of injuries caused by workplace violence than any other profession. Now, it appears based on survey data that the steps employers are taking are not viewed as sufficient by these at-risk workers. The recent Workplace Violence Prevention Training Annual Report for health care came back with the headline finding that healthcare workers don't feel confident in workplace safety plans. In fact, more than half (55%) said violence prevention plans at their workplace were only somewhat effective, or simply ineffective.
