This morning the content in the email I received from Lori Harder resonated hard.
She talked about the idea of challenges and how they interact with our personal growth. That sometimes it feels like the universe just won't let up, and you're hit with one thing after another.
Instead of letting it derail you, what if you looked at it this way - "What if this challenge is actually here for me? What if it's an opportunity to build resilience and let go of some of the fear that's been holding me back?"
That every struggle, big or small, is not just happening to you — you actually called it in. What if we are bringing in these challenges so we can evolve, grow, and become our highest selves?
These were her recommendations for when you're faced with a challenge:
👉 Name it and accept it: Acknowledge the challenge, and accept that it's happening for a reason. Think about why it might be showing up in your life and what lesson it’s bringing. Understanding this can shift your mindset from one of resistance to one of curiosity and openness.
👉 Create an action plan: Once you've identified the lesson, decide how you’ll address the challenge. Whether it's adjusting your approach, changing your perspective, or taking action; having a plan gives you control and direction.
👉 Express gratitude: Thank the challenge for the growth opportunity it brings. Gratitude can transform how you experience the situation, making it a stepping stone rather than a stumbling block.
