During my son’s recent overnight EEG, we participated in a study to test a prototype device to prevent #SUDEP. We are hopeful for new devices and technologies that can help parents and caregivers monitor while their loved ones with epilepsy sleep. You can help too by understanding #SUDEP and raising awareness for risks. #talkaboutSUDEP #innovativemedicaldevices #sudepprevention #pediatricsudep #researchepilepsy #cureepilepsy Epilepsy Foundation

In sharing her son Easton's story, Kim wants to not only honor his memory but share the importance of talking about Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). She encourages everyone to talk with healthcare providers and one another to raise awareness: https://bit.ly/3UV0R8o

Dear Kim, my deep condolences 💐 for yours and your family loss . There’s no words to describe how deeply heartbroken 💔 it is for a mother , my son was diagnosed with unspecified epilepsy and ,SUPED has become a constant unwanted guest in my life. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for all of you. Our hearts are with you and your family & friends 🙏🏼💜💜💜
