Thrilled to finally announce WattBot — what I’ve been working on for the past year and plan to work on for many, many more. Since 2018 I’ve felt that the most present danger to humanity is climate destruction (aka “change”). Most frustratingly within this abstract danger lies our inability to deploy *existing* climate solutions, and quickly. But whether it’s convincing farmers to plant cover crops or consumers to go solar, I’ve learned that deployment is mostly an issue of education, motivation, and facilitation. Fortunately these are things software can help with, and quickly (see https://lnkd.in/gc4FnCtB). I was lucky enough to meet Dhanur Grandhi in 2023, at a time when we both felt an urge to pursue a similar idea: a software company that could solve deployment for residential solar. How? Well, the way solar is sold in this country leaves trust to be desired. As a result, one third of what you pay for home solar goes towards a massive sales apparatus: around $8,000 on average. This is a number we want to drive toward $0, making the process of going solar cheaper and more enjoyable for consumers. At WattBot, we are excited to: 1. Build tools for solar installers to 10x their growth in a matter of years 2. Use great design to make software this industry has never seen before 3. Build upon the shoulders of giants, and partner with the best out there 4. Focus on profit over valuation We’re starting with our first product, Yellow Page — a free reputation amplifier to help the top 5% of solar installers compete on track record instead of price. We’re truly honored that incredible businesses like Good Faith Energy and Transform Solar are already using their pages in the wild, and are grateful for Mohammed Abdalla 🍉 and Jason Humphrey for their feedback as we perfect the product. Learn more at https://www.wattbot.app/ The truth is, while starting a company is hard the last year has actually been a *blast* thanks to an amazing group of mentors, friends, and family who helped us get here: Dori Rutkevitz Conrad Kramer Shadi B. Allison Mateo, PPS, NCC, APCC Shikha Agarwal Legarlin Li Peter W. Aditya Sharma Hannah Yang Cole Ashman Billy Parish Phil Narodick James Gordey James Quazi David Rusenko Graham Turk Anay Shah and Ben Eidelson just to name a few!

Hi everyone! I'm Kelvin, a passionate entrepreneur at the forefront of the clean energy revolution. My journey began with a vision to make sustainable energy accessible and convenient for everyone. This vision led to the creation of Upower, a pioneering power bank rental company that is setting the stage for the future of electric vehicle #EV charging. Empowering Change, One Charge at a Time At Upower, we believe in empowering individuals through innovative technology. Our journey started with a simple question: How can we make people's lives easier while also contributing to a sustainable future? The answer was in providing accessible, reliable, and eco-friendly charging solutions. Upower's power bank rental service is just the beginning. We're working towards integrating EV charging solutions, making clean energy a staple in daily transportation. A Mission Driven by Sustainability and Innovation My interest in clean energy isn't just about business—it's about building a better world for future generations. With Upower, we're committed to reducing carbon footprints, one charge at a time. Our mission is to lead the shift towards renewable energy sources, starting with how people power their devices and eventually, how they fuel their vehicles. Joining Forces for a Greener Tomorrow The road to a sustainable future is paved with challenges, but it's a journey I'm proud to be on. At Upower, we're always looking for like-minded individuals, partners, and collaborators who share our vision for a cleaner, greener planet. Whether you're passionate about technology, clean energy, or innovative solutions to everyday problems, there's a place for you here. Let's Connect I'm on a mission to make clean energy a part of everyone's life. If you're interested in learning more about Upower, discussing potential partnerships, or just want to chat about the future of clean energy, I'd love to connect with you (Kelvin Jong). Together, we can power the future, sustainably. A special shoutout to my mentor, Ajmer Singh Kairon, and my incredible team. Without their invaluable support, this journey wouldn't have been possible. Thank you for being instrumental in our success! 🟩⚡️

🌟 Celebrating Small Wins in the Renewable Energy Journey 🌟 Hey LinkedIn ! 👋 Hope this post finds you all charged up for a fantastic weekend ahead after a super successful first week back! 🚀 Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate something we sometimes overlook – the power of small wins . 💡 In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the big picture of renewables– the major projects, groundbreaking innovations, and global impact. But let's not forget the incredible value in acknowledging and celebrating the small victories along the way. 🎉 Whether it's successfully implementing a new energy-efficient process, achieving a milestone in a community outreach program, or simply hitting a target ahead of schedule – these small wins collectively contribute to our industry's success and sustainability. Here are a few reasons why celebrating these moments is crucial: 1️⃣ Boosts Morale: Recognizing and appreciating the efforts of our teams, no matter how small, boosts morale and creates a positive work culture. It's the fuel that keeps us motivated for the bigger challenges. 2️⃣ Encourages Innovation: Small wins often come from creative solutions and innovative thinking. By celebrating them, we encourage a culture of continuous improvement and foster an environment where new ideas flourish. 3️⃣ Strengthens Team Bonds: Celebrating together creates a sense of camaraderie among team members. It reinforces the idea that we're all in this together, working towards a common goal. 4️⃣ Builds Confidence: Achieving small milestones builds confidence, individually and collectively. It reminds us that progress is being made, and we are on the right path towards a sustainable future. See attached the photo of my celebration of a small win today! Bubbles and a book I call it! So, let's take a moment today to recognize and appreciate those small wins in our renewable energy journey. Whether you're part of a project team, an engineer, or a sustainability advocate – your efforts matter, and every step counts! 🌱 Feel free to share your recent small wins so far this year in the comments below. Let's celebrate together and inspire each other! 💚 #RenewableEnergy #SmallWins #Sustainability #Teamwork #EVcharging #werehiring #StephenStephen M. R. Covey #7habits #sevenhabits

At Sparrow, we believe in transforming bold visions into on-ground realities. Our BROG™ (Board Room to On-Ground Reality) concept is a testament to this belief, and it’s driving the future of sustainability. Take inspiration from Enel, Italy’s state-owned power company, which transformed from a major coal user to a leader in renewable energy. This remarkable journey was fueled by the unwavering will of its leadership and a strategic shift towards sustainability. Enel's creation of Enel Green Power and its open innovation model are perfect examples of how traditional industries can adapt and thrive in a sustainable future. At Sparrow RMS -EHS | Technology | Engineering | Sustainability | IndustryOS ™ we are committed to leveraging the BROG™ concept to turn our sustainability goals into actionable outcomes. By fostering innovation, embracing decentralized models, and inviting external contributions, we are not just adopting renewable energy but redefining the role of business in society. #SustainabilityInAction #BROG #VisionToReality #SustainableFuture #OnGroundImpact #sparrowrms
