If you are on LinkedIn and want opportunities to come your way, help yourself to be seen! A title like; Product@XXXXXX, won't help me understand what you do. Neither does calling yourself a "Product Leader" or "Product Professional". These terms are vague and can mean many things. Some profiles on LinkedIn make it incredibly tough to figure out if I should contact you or not. Many are missing: An appropriate title - Keep it simple. If you are a Senior Product Manager, list it as such. You can also highlight the industries you specialize in, or whether you are B2B, B2B2C focused, or if you are a start-up pro, etc. Try something like this; Senior Product Manager | B2B SaaS | Fin-Tech A description of what you did at these companies - Listing your job title and the company you worked for under your experience section isn't helping you get found for relevant roles. List your key achievements and the type of work you did. E.g. Launched 2 B2B SaaS fin-tech products to market and grew revenue from X to XX over 12 months. A lack of common searchable words - Headhunters like me use searchable words to find people they want to contact on here and on other platforms. Include keywords that you want people to associate with you in your profile so you can be found. E.g If you are an experienced Product Manager in the HealthTech space, list the key responsibilities you had as a PM (execute, roadmap, GTM, 0-1, A/B test, etc.) and the types of products you worked on (consumer-facing, B2B2C, B2C, EHR, Mental health, platform, mobile apps). Using these terms in the body of your profile will help people like me contact you about roles you are qualified for. Make your LinkedIn profile searchable and easy to understand so you can be contacted for the right opportunities! #hiring #recruitment #productmanagement
