I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Program Manager - CTO Strategic Initiatives at Atlassian!

Over the past year, I've completed two cohorts with Skillspire: "Intro to Data Analytics" and recently "Advanced Data Analytics". Guided by insightful instructors and TAs, these cohorts delivered complex topics in a digestible manner, directly applicable to real-world scenarios. During the Advanced cohort, I mastered machine learning, regression, and statistics, building upon the foundational Python & SQL skills from the Intro cohort. Learning how to utilize both Python and SQL together in Google Colab was a personal achievement, considering my doubts about being able to code naturally outside of simple HTML & SQL. I'm like the Hermoine Granger of coding, I mastered it with diligence, practice, and meticulous note-taking vs "Magician-Born" folks who seem to have the innate talent of conceptualizing on the spot. The schedule accommodated full-time employment, ensuring accessibility for working professionals. Compared to other bootcamps, Skillspire doesn't rush through topics and its comprehensive approach allows students to incrementally build their knowledge. With a background in program management at FAANG companies, where continuing education is paramount, I enthusiastically recommend Skillspire for professional development and career transitions. For those that have been impacted by #BigTechLayoffs, the Forbes article thumbnailed below has some great tips on keeping a positive mindset and the power of manifestation while searching for your next role. It can be tough to stay positive when the current job market seems so daunting, so remember to focus on self-care, mental health, take breaks from your job search to build or improve current skills, & find a little joy every day during this difficult time (aka #hygge ). I believe that once these big tech companies restructure after the many layoffs and get a chance to calibrate; hopefully they will follow past trends and start opening new roles again. 1-in-10 AFAB/Women have Endometriosis. Most people with this condition have to mask the chronic pain while maintaining their careers, social life and home life. Most have to advocate for the best treatment that most of us don't receive for years.
