Last year saw our first individual user officially cross $1M in yearly income (net P&L) on Kalshi 🎉🎉 It's great to see that Kalshi is progressively becoming a stable part-time and even full-time job for many of our members. A lot of people have a ton of knowledge about the world and the news. Kalshi is a way for them to capitalize on that knowledge. Excited for 2024!
I think the more relevant metric would be what % of users made a profit On such platforms it is very likely for a small % of users to make a disproportionate profit While the platform is certainly interesting and engaging, I’m not sure whether predicting events based on news could be a stable job

I’m trying to understand what makes it different from say PolyMarket other than the regulation part? Like how do you raise money from the best VC’s in the world on an app that I could prototype in a weekend? What’s the magic sauce?
