READY, set, go! At Kamstrup, we're always ahead—one meter at a time. Yesterday, we laced up our running shoes and joined the annual DHL relay race! This year, more than 400 Kamstrup colleagues came together at Mindeparken for a day filled with friendly competition. In between the races, our team enjoyed relaxing massages, coffee, and lots of delicious pancakes under the sun. By the end of the evening, we celebrated our fastest teams with great prizes. A big shoutout to our top performers, including this year's fastest team, "Supply Chain A," for setting the pace and leading the way! For us it's all about staying ahead—on the track and in the industry.

🚀 What a journey! After weeks of brainstorming, my incredible team (Hugo Pecero Pérez, Li Yang, Núria Sánchez Guitart, and myself) finally reached the finish line of the Coca-Cola D&AD New Blood challenge. Initially, we tackled the "dirt is good" brief, following Fadi Dada guide. While his insights were valuable for setting the groundwork, they didn't quite click for our project. But hey, that's part of the process - sometimes you need to pivot and adjust your strategy. So, we shifted gears and dove into The Coca-Cola Company brief itself. This path offered more clarity but still presented its challenges. We started by pinpointing the struggles faced by Gen Z, then crafted a solution we believed resonated with them. 🎯 One key takeaway from this experience? Having a phenomenal team by your side makes all the difference. It's inevitable to encounter hurdles, but with a supportive group, you can overcome them. I'm incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with this amazing bunch. We've shared countless laughs and moments of determination throughout this project. August has been a wild one. We took on more projects than ever before, launched a few, handed some off, expanded our network—and we turned one. We’ve been reflecting a lot on the past year, revisiting old docs, videos, notes, and brainstorm sessions. Sometimes we wonder, who were those people from a year ago talking about all this? We can relate to their vision, but in many ways, they seem completely different. It’s surreal, like… how did this all happen? Of course, we were driven and passionate about the work we wanted to create and the brand we wanted to build. We had a strong vision of what we wanted and what we didn’t. We have strategic plans, business goals, yearly plans, to-do lists, and schedules. But sometimes, looking back, it felt like we were just along for the ride. We took so many risks, threw caution to the wind, and rolled with it. And we’re better for it. Embracing the unknown, we tried everything we could to find a strong message that resonated and felt like us. Felt like DEEO. We worked tirelessly to keep improving, stay ahead, and connect with people who are smarter and doing great work. We knew that was only making us better. Looking back, some things we did, we still do today; others, we've evolved past. But every step was crucial in getting us here. And that cycle will continue—the idea that everything we do today, in some way, will inform who we are tomorrow. We always want to do the best work we’re capable of. And when we hit that goal, we set a new bar. It’s not just about doing great work for our clients; it is core to who we are as individual creatives who share a vision. We constantly ask, how do we stay relevant? How do we keep innovating? How do we put creative ideas into the world that make people stop and think, “Yeah, that. I want that.” For us, it’s about never getting comfortable. And always staying curious. Cheers to year two.

This photo doesn’t do the last few days justice. Conferences(Assemble Holidays would be a more appropriate name) often seem to come at a time when you don’t want to be away from your desk etc. BUT wowee was it great to let the hair down over the last few days, get to know people from our sister businesses better and to get the “good oil” from some of the best in the business about what’s helped them be successful in business and to build successful businesses. The common denominators were the importance of hiring good people, with shared values, who will add to an already great culture, be kind and to provide opportunity. Look forward to the next one.
This week the team at Assemble had the opportunity to escape to Waiheke Island for a couple of days to celebrate our achievements from 2023. During our time on the island, we not only enjoyed the company of our two sister companies BrightSpark.io & CoLegal, but we also took the chance to strengthen our bond as a team. Amidst the beautiful wineries and having some fun on the jet skis, we also made sure to carve out moments for reflection on the past year's accomplishments, share ideas around how we can better service the industries we recruit for and to prepare ourselves for the year ahead. It’s been a great opportunity to recharge, reconnect, and realign our focus as a team. We return eager to tackle another big year ahead in recruitment! Ever wondered what it looks like when ALDI SÜD kicks off a Move Challenge?🚶♀️ In addition to my little happy dance (of course in my ALDImania shirt), I’d like to share some insights into the challenge. The Move Challenge started on September 1st and will run 3 months. The goal? To collect as many steps as possible as a team. To participate, you need to form a team of at least four colleagues. Our team is called "Holy Walkamolies" and I’m happy to have Radha Mehta, Jonas Dreifeld and Marc Joest in my team. A total of 84 teams from ALDI SÜD are participating, and everything is tracked through the Changers Fit app. You can see which team is in the lead and even where you personally rank. 🏅 So, what’s in it for me personally, and how does it benefit our work? We all know the feeling—sitting in meetings all day, and by the evening, it's tough to find the motivation to move. This challenge motivates you to take some meetings while walking on a walking pad, strolling around your apartment, or going for an extra walk after work. And does ALDI benefit from this as well? I’d say yes. It strengthens team spirit and helps us do something good for our bodies. Today, I went for an evening walk with two colleagues at Kemnader See. Will I manage to increase my average step count? I’ll share my final thoughts at the end of the challenge. Special shoutout to my teammate, Jonas Dreifeld, who’s already walked over 40km in just three days! 👏 To my colleagues, what's your team name?
