UDISE+ 2023-24 highlights major gaps in education especially related to IT education without which the education itself remains short looking into current relevance to requirements. The industry has to recognise this and find innovative solutions instead of just donating the hardware

Teachers spend too much money out of pocket on school supplies. When we first surveyed teachers in 2015, they reported that they spent $600 on average on their classrooms. That number is up to $860 as of 2023. It’s not okay. For more than a decade, ACE Cash Express has helped teachers spend less money out of pocket, raising more than $600,000 to help teachers in their communities access the supplies they need. I’ve noticed that raising funds for a cause is a common go-to action for students, not only during the PYP Exhibition but also across the MYP. While fundraising is meaningful, I believe there’s so much more we can empower students to do to create lasting impacts! 📊 New National Tutoring Programme (NTP) data from the Department for Education (DfE) shows a decrease in the number of schools engaging with tuition this year, most likely as a result of cut subsidies, but a higher-than-average demand still exists in the North West. 📌 The North West has the highest NTP uptake outside of London – showing the continued need for tutoring in this region.
