This one habit I practiced during lockdown gave me immense results. I believe everyone should cultivate it. READING. Usually, I read ebooks. But recently, on my way to my hometown, I read a physical book called ‘The Diary of a CEO’ by Steven Bartlett. I used a pencil and highlighter to make notes as I read. I had many insights while reading. For me, an insight is an idea that changes how I think or act. I got more insights than usual, probably because: - It's a good book with interesting ideas. - I read slowly and took notes by hand. Reading slowly and writing notes helped me think more deeply about the ideas in the book. One big insight was that I need to take my health more SERIOUSLY. The main lesson I learned is that reading physical books slowly is better for understanding. Taking notes by hand adds more value. This is especially true when one is reading to gain insights rather than just for information or fun. What's your favourite book that gave you a life-changing insight? Wisdom Wednesday Have you read this book? I had this book for a decade or so. As part of my professional development, I am listening to it on Audible while driving. I am on Chapter 3 so far. For those that have read it, what are your thoughts and have you applied to any of the suggestions in the book to your workplace or at home?

A few weeks ago, I started reading this book, and I nearly finished it in one sitting. The book is not very long, and I appreciate that the author did not waste any time in getting right to the point—literally writing a book that even lazy readers could read. This book covers procrastination and productivity strategies. It is a good motivational book, in my opinion, because it covers the majority of the knowledge you actually need to succeed rather than just "vibes." If you have not already, you should read this book. Have a great week 🤝🏽 #documentingonLinkedIn

📖 Anyone else looking forward to World Book Day this Thursday? I was never one for reading when I was younger for a number of reasons, but now I love opening a book or listening to an audible book and learning something new. 📚 Reading has been a transformative journey for me, shaping my mind, broadening my horizons, and enriching my life in countless ways. 💭if you're thinking to yourself I want to read more stop thinking about it and just do it. I ask you how long do you spend each day looking at social media? just think if you took half that time to stop and read just think how much you could learn from the right book. #putthephonedown ◼ If you are looking for some personal development pick up a book or listen to an audible book today. What book has had a significant impact on your life? In an age where information is at our fingertips, the act of reading remains a profound and impactful experience. It’s more than just absorbing words on a page – it’s an adventure, an education, and a source of inspiration. Yesterday, I experienced this firsthand. I reluctantly picked up a book, not expecting much, and it ended up profoundly influencing me. Sometimes, good things come very unexpectedly. This book not only captivated me but also offered insights that I hadn't anticipated, reminding me of the incredible power that reading holds. For me, reading has been a lifelong companion, guiding me through challenges and sparking countless ideas. Whether it's a gripping novel, an insightful biography, or a cutting-edge business book, the value of reading cannot be overstated. As we navigate our professional and personal lives, let's not forget to make time for this enriching habit. #Reading #PersonalGrowth #LifelongLearning #Inspiration #Books

I inadvertently left Ice Cold Leader, by Errol Doebler, off the of my reading list that I posted last week. It was hiding as the only non-Audible, hardcover book in my stack. This book has brought tremendous benefit in the form of learning to recognize emotions methods for using breathwork and cold water practices to master how you respond to your emotions. I highly recommend this book.

Will I ever say, have completed reading this book? May be not! This is one of those books that helps readers get their pulse check anytime, every time- when in doubt. This book is readers’ work in progress! One needs to read this book carefully! The right word: immerse – if You Can!! On a journey, when you suddenly get a GPS tracker or a Google map... The joy of reaching the place and journey is unfathomable! This book is like your “North” for learning things. As I read, and I check my own comprehension (about things that felt I know, knew) the path mentioned here is like decluttering my thoughts, my to do list, my wants to achieve and just focus upon one thing: How I can!! Now that i have a wiser understanding of I CAN! # Kiran Bir Sethi #RLC # I CAN
