Here is to Channable celebrating their 10 year in the business! 🚀
If you have met me in the last 10 years, there is a big chance you aren't entirely familiar with my entrepreneurial background. Starting from the first summer break of my university studies, we had our own start up with my brother. It was a great ride, we took a couple of products from 0 to 1, however, it never scaled to a 50, 100+ strong organization and I eventually took a different direction.
Every time I look at Channable, what Rob, Stefan and Robert built, and what it became today, I tell myself: "This is what I would have loved my own start-up to become!"
Why do I think this way?
📘 They built a no-nonsense approach to building a product. A product which simply exists to serve customers, and customers only. There is absolutely no hidden agenda - the thing just works, there is no ridiculous work flow in the product to game some useless KPI to show the company/product bigger than what it is.
📒 Genuine care for people: Have an idea? Speak up. Don't like an idea? Share what you think. You think you could contribute or grow more in another role? Be their guest. You think the company needs a new role altogether to achieve X? Create your case and step up.
📕 Their ability to change their point of view: I still closely follow their feature releases (I'm also still in the industry, in the end) - and many of the latest features they shipped weren't very popular in the company just a few years back. I can only commend how receptive they are to customer needs and empower their teams to build the right things.
And last but not least, the way they keep in touch with their alumni is also spectacular. Every time they celebrate their major milestones, there is always a note to us, as well.
Happy birthday again, Channable! 🎉 Here is a photo with Channable's CEO Rob from their 10th anniversary celebration yesterday :)
