Additive manufacturing has opened up a world of possibilities for VerdeTerra, allowing for rapid prototyping, intricate mold development, and, ultimately, the realization of products that were once mere concepts.
As the technology evolves and costs decrease, I envision a future dominated by micro-manufacturing operations. Imagine small businesses equipped with a single machine capable of crafting anything from metal, plastic, electronics, and even concrete – a future where creating complex end-use products is as simple as walking in with a product license and watching your purchase come to life. Imagine the impact that could have on logistic carbon emissions.
Currently, I'm fine-tuning our Ender5 and Bambu machines for prototype testing and mold development for our next big release. It has certainly been a learning process with these machines.
