I wanted to come back to the idea of conflict resolution, because I actually think that like AIS could potentially be very useful in conflict resolution. Again, they don't have the software hardware, interface bugs that human beings do, and it might actually be helpful to have a nonhuman. Interface in a conflict to reflect back to you in a more dispassionate way. That might be a little bit easier to accept coming from an A machine, you know what I'm saying? Coming from an AI, then it might be from another person, like there may be a real, there may be real utility there, so like. Managing emotions is an incredibly important skill for human beings to interact with other human beings, and I still think that that's going to be important. Managing conflict is going to be important. But I think that to say that these are fundamentally the domain of human beings misses the point to some degree, because I think that AI can act like a prosthesis, like it can help support us in doing these things that are very difficult to do. Especially when. You know the we we might be hitting one of those sort of like. Uh, the the bug conditions where we're feeling overwhelmed by something like having the AI might actually help us figure out how to process that.

Yep! I use AI that way now. It can be both dispassionate and more astute. It also requires the us, the humans, to be humble enough to ask for the support and discerning enough to take it. I like Jason Rosoff vocab of AI as a prosethtic. Noodling on that.

Absolutely! AI can be both dispassionate and more astute, requiring us, the humans, to be humble enough to seek support and discerning enough to accept it. I appreciate Jason Rosoff concept of AI as a prosthetic. It's a thought-provoking idea. It's time to move beyond merely questioning how others can make AI technology useful in our lives. Instead, we should embrace more ways to leverage AI to support us.
