This is very well said. Prioritizing your boundaries and advocating for your needs and ideas is something that the system encourages #WomenInTheWorkplace not to do. If we want to break down barriers and resist outdated structures that prioritize men, we must be able to hold our ground and challenge poor behavior. At the same time, leadership should recognize these qualities of signs of power and confidence. #WomenLeadership #Boundaries

As we recognize Deaf Awareness Month, let’s reflect on what we can do better. Don’t assume all deaf individuals are profoundly deaf or know each other; their experiences and connections are diverse. Avoid stereotypes and respect their unique skills Instead, embrace creative communication, add captions to your content, and support Deaf-owned businesses. Take the time to learn about the distinctions within the Deaf community and inquire about their preferred communication styles. Together, we can foster understanding and inclusivity.
