Since our first flexible workspace, Koba @ 100 Barbirolli Square, opens in October 2024, we asked our new GM Christopher Griffin some questions about how he will approach his role to enhance the residents' experience whilst focusing on sustainability practices...   💡What will be your focus for the residents who we welcome into Koba @ 100 Barbirolli Sq?  "As General Manager for Koba @ 100 Barbirolli Sq, I will be working with my team to ensure that we are delivering a best-in-class, premium experience to all our residents. With a focus on expertly crafted weekly events schedules, designed to promote wellness, enhance productivity, help forge connections and drive networking in an honest & meaningful way." ✅ What attracted you to work at Koba? "There are quite a few flex operators presently in the market, but none of them are really offering a point of difference. When I heard about the Koba opportunity I was genuinely excited about the operator's sustainability credentials. There are a lot of providers making claims around sustainability, but very few are openly holding themselves to account, or delivering on their commitments with such transparency. The sustainability manifesto coupled with our commitment to premium delivery of services sealed the deal for me!" 🌳 Sustainability is imperative at Koba; how can residents get involved with these practices? "Sustainability is imperative for all of us as the impacts of climate change are already being widely felt. I must stress that we won’t be allowing residents to take space with us only if they can prove that they operate in a sustainable way. If a company - big or small – can start their sustainability journey (commitment?) by taking space with us, then we are having a wider impact. Without getting too deep, there is a commitment to our legacy – to ensure that we’re doing right today for the future of tomorrow." 🌱 Anything you’d like to add..? "I am really excited to launch Koba @ 100 Barbirolli Square in October – we have exciting plans for the future and not just around our approach to sustainability and our own growth, but also with our ‘class of’ partnership with IntoUniversity – we will work with our residents to offer experience, mentorship and internships to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds – offering them opportunities that would not ordinarily be available to them." For more information about Koba and booking a site visit, contact Christopher Griffin or Taylor Farrimond for more details, we can't wait to see you! #mcr #sustainable #flexibleworkspace #circulardesign
