Carlsberg is updating the way it describes how a leader should behave. Our leadership behaviours will be critical if we are to reach our ambitions and shift into a ‘Growth Mode’. There are 5 Growth Culture behaviours: 1. Semper Ardens (our founders mentality) 2. Positive Energy and Compassion 3. Passion for Consumers 4. Decide Fast and Deliver with Excellence 5. Empower, Support and Grow our People I really like all 5 but like Steven Coveys habits, I feel drawn to one in particular. Initially I found a natural connection with number 5…… its what I do right!.....well maybe. Semper Ardens is all about a pursuit of better, and this sentiment connects more strongly with my personal purpose. It is actually at the heart of what I do! I help individuals, teams and leaders to be better, to constantly look for ways to improve their skills so that they can achieve better. So, as I head home after three long weeks in Asia, I will raise a glass of Carlsberg Beer to the teams in Carlsberg Brewery Hong Kong Limited, Cambrew Ltd, @carlsberg China and @carlsberg Myanmar as they continually work to improve their capabilities and live our founders mentality #purpose #L&D #Carlsberggroup.

🚀 From Small Beginnings to Market Leadership: Lessons in Scaling When I co-founded Polsoja, we were a small tofu production company with a vision: to bring delicious, plant-based foods to more people. What started as a local operation grew into a Central European market leader, producing over 200 tons of vegan products monthly and reaching customers across 10+ countries. Here’s what I learned about scaling businesses: 1️⃣ Vision Without Execution Is Just a Dream: Scaling Polsoja required meticulous planning, operational optimization, and a relentless focus on execution. Each decision—whether it was outsourcing specific processes or developing over 100 unique vegan recipes—brought us closer to our goal. 2️⃣ Embrace Innovation: Investing in technology and product innovation allowed us to continuously exceed customer expectations. Our pioneering commercial tofu production in Poland was just the beginning. 3️⃣ Partnerships Are Key: By securing relationships with retailers like Lidl, Tesco, and Carrefour, we amplified our reach and built lasting trust with customers. Every business has potential waiting to be unlocked. With the right strategy and leadership, transformation is not just possible—it’s inevitable. 👉 What’s your biggest challenge in scaling your business? Let’s exchange insights in the comments. For our client Royal De Heus we met in Jakarta where we were able to work on an amazing leadership project. Why? Because of the successful growth of the business worldwide and the industry’s increasing demands around sustainability is presenting De Heus with two challenges: 🧐 How to successfully bring its growing intercultural leadership along? 🧐 How to make sustainability an integral part of the way to do business? Together with a group of 20 executives from 12 different nationalities, each bringing their own assumptions and cultural perspectives, we worked on this project. De Heus and PT IAS, two organizations with shared interests but sometimes opposing views, collaborated to develop a business case with enormous potential for positive #impact on both people and animals. 👉 Our approach ✅ After a few online meetings, our journey begins in Jakarta. Away from daily routines, we focus on personal #leadership and sustainable fish farming in Indonesia's green interior. ✅ By expressing prejudices and sharing stories, we bridge cultural gaps. Leadership workshops, coaching, and field visits drive a joint venture in hormone-free fish farming, leading to better business and healthier food. ✅ Under time pressure, the puzzle pieces fall into place. On the last day of our 5-day journey, we present a solid vision and action plan to stakeholders. This group of leaders stands behind their shared vision and each other. The final outcome?🎯 A transformed team of strong leaders who know how to bring out the best in each other and navigate between cultural differences. They have played their part in realizing De Heus’ #sustainability agenda and contributed to a tangible product. 🌎🌱 Want to know more about this project? Or simply want to have a chat about what we could do for your company? Don’t hesitate to reach out to us via our (brandnew) website! 💻 better-future.com

🌟 Proud Moment from Heineken's Continuous Improvement Program! 🌟 Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to submit an initiative to Heineken's Continuous Improvement Contest under the 'Drive Superior Growth' one of EverGreen pillars, which was inspired by the vision shared by Heineken's Global CEO. The initiative urged the company to embrace the idea of becoming a Multi-Brewer by expanding into soft drinks and bottled water production. This approach was designed to tap into new customer segments with increased reach, while diversifying the brand's offerings. I’m thrilled to share that my project was selected as a runner-up and partially piloted! 🎉 This experience has not only reinforced my belief in the power of innovation and strategic thinking but also taught me the value of challenging the status quo and embracing bold ideas to create more opportunities for growth. ✅️Title of the initiative: Winning In Addis Alcohol-Free #Innovation #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement #MultiBrewer #Heineken #GrowthMindset #SoftDrinks #BottledWater #Sustainability #InnovationInAction

CEO Hamdi Ulukaya's Insight On How He Built Chobani's Culture - Development Share of the Day #18 In 2007, Hamdi Ulukaya founded the Chobani yogurt company in an abandoned yogurt facility in upstate New York. His strategic goal was not just to build a product, but to build a culture. In 2008 he came up with a brilliant idea. He decided to share 10% of the company's value with employees. As a person who came from a background of farming, Ulukaya was frustrated how what he called "ordinary working people" were not recognized for their contributions. When the company reached 2,000 employees, he announced that they were going to give them shares in the company. He marveled at the impact this change had on the team. Hamdi said that the staff was always proud, but that the ownership piece was missing. In his eyes, it made the Chobani team faster, more passionate and happier. I have been part of multiple life sciences companies that have taken this approach and given stock across the entire employee base. In every case, both the company success and employee morale have risen due to this compensation strategy. What have you experienced with respect to equity in the organizations you have joined? #innovation #culture =================== Are you interested in seeing content focused on #personaldevelopment, #highperformance and #leadership? If so, feel free to follow me, Steve Gerhart so you don't miss any posts. Thanks for stopping by. (Source: Inc. Magazine, Hamdi Ulukaya on Bringing Humanity to Leadership)

Medical inflation has been a trending issue among #healthinsurance providers nowadays. Insurers experiencing unprecedented yet unpredictable increase of claims post-pandemic. Some underwriting adjustments have been taken to manage the claims ratio including significant increament on premium and some modifications on policy terms and conditions. In LGI, we approach the situation beyond underwriting matters. We believe health insurance providers can address #medicalinflation by collaborating with healthcare providers to understand current practices, leveraging #digital capabilities to minimize administrative work, and ensuring timely payment of hospital bills. This approach fosters a win-win partnership and sustainable health insurance management. Last week we conducted series of partner gathering with our hospital partners bringing the theme of Empowering Partnership, Energize the Synergy. Solution to current turbulence in health insurance not solely #underwriting issue. Partnering with hospitals will also play key roles in health insurance management. #digitaltransformation #employeebenefit
We have held our Partner Gathering 2024 with the theme "Empowering Partnership, Energize the Synergy" at Hotel Bumi Surabaya City Resort. This event aims to strengthen the collaboration between our partner providers and LGI, and to boost synergy for the future. We hope this gathering will lead to stronger partnerships and better teamwork moving forward. #PartnerGathering #BusinessPartnership #Teamwork #Synergy #Empowerment #Networking #Leadership #Success #FutureGoals #EmpoweringPartnership #EnergizeTheSynergy #Collaboration #LGI
