🌟 Exciting news from Latitude 59! 🌟 "𝘽𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙡𝙙. 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩.” as the conference headline reads, resonates well with our Head of Products & Strategy, Christina Krogsgård Nielsen. She recently joined a panel debate at the tech conference "Latitude 59", in Tallinn, Estonia. Here are three interesting takeaways, following the conference mantra: 💻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: As a lot of us are aware, quantum hardware still need further development to reach its full potential. 👉 Stay tuned for an upcoming Kvantify blogpost on the state of quantum hardware. 🛄 𝗔 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: Classical algorithms are like trains on tracks, while quantum algorithms are like planes in the open sky. Both are means of transport, but they have very different limitations. - credit César Rodríguez Rosario. 🚀 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀: It would be wonderful if quantum computing could one day enable personalized medicine by simulating an individual's bodily environment before clinical trials, though this is still many years away. In the mean time, we’ll stay focused on developing our platform to accelerate drug discovery and build world-class applications with classical and quantum algorithms. #quantum #quantumcomputing #takethenextleap
