𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 Electric vehicle charging infrastructure, also known as electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), is a critical component for charging plug-in electric vehicles. This infrastructure relies on dedicated electrical systems integrated into various levels of the distribution grid and encompasses components like charging stations, software applications, energy controllers, facility meters, and grid-connected energy conversion systems. Some advanced infrastructures feature smart metering, cellular connectivity, and network integration. The market is being fueled by the rapid adoption of electric vehicles, driven by concerns about environmental degradation, fossil fuel overuse, and harmful emissions that impact public health and sustainability. This shift from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric ones is spurring the demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, particularly in both residential and industrial applications, to meet the growing need for convenient and sustainable charging solutions.
