At GREEN MONSTER we like to feel important... So we're dragging out our ONE YEAR anniversary 💥 And pretending like we forgot — NOT trying too hard... Moving past our poorly planned posting and sh!tty joke, after one year, we're still kicking. Mostly limping but still moving. HOOKING and JABBING — 100% still in the fight 🕹 There's a SH!T TON still needing, figured out, but we've got a lot of the important stuff, out the way. SLUGGISHLY getting our trash squared away. With a HARD RESET, on some of our earlier direction, and HARD LEAN on others. Starting with being a #blackandbrown company FIRST 🖕🏽 With a heavy EMPHASIZE on the #veterancommunity 🎖 And a touch of culturally appropriate SARCASM 🙊 In the year we've existed, one the most glaring and obvious problems we've encounter, in research and practice, is the complete disregard for legitimate #diversity or #inclusion. Not even a marginal amount of genuine effort. Just #buzzword and #parading around, of the one #diversityhire. We've got folders of it. Worst still, the complete disregard and disdain for the veteran community as a whole. Through passive aggressive postings, to complete overlooking of resumes, and #ostracizing based off subjective view points, that inaccurately paints individuals. #Villainizing due to personal bias and prejudice. IRONICALLY familiar. None of it, surprisingly new. HYPOCRISY at it's finest. While the rest of the #entertainmentindustry is busy chasing it's tails and playing the blame game or parading around victimhood, while victimizing others, #GREENMONSTERstudio is building a legacy. By calling out the B 🤬 LLSH!T and drawing the digital line in the sand, for those who are truly interested in change, and building something new... With little support. How we get down 🎲 (catchy TAGLINE)

📌 HR Pros: Don't forget to celebrate every kind of mom in the workplace this Mother's Day! 💐 ⭐ There are bio moms, step moms, foster moms, grand moms, pet moms, moms that you wouldn't know are moms and the list goes on... 💡 The biggest impact we can make is educating everyone on the diversity of caretakers, nurturers and role models whom make up this group of givers. 🫶 Ensure that your messaging, tokens of appreciation or events reflect a culture of inclusivity by inviting self identification (in order to also be sensitive to those who may not want to partake in celebration). Joy is a highly valued member of the team who demonstrates outstanding dedication, professionalism, and proficiency in her role as Development Accounts Coordinator. Joy is dependable, accountable and manages multiple tasks and deadlines with ease. Her positive attitude and ability to build trusting and engaging relationships across the organization is so appreciated and has a big impact on our collaborative team culture. Joy exemplifies the Hungerford values on a daily basis, and we thank her for all her contributions over the last 5 years. Q: What is your favourite part of your job? A: I love the people I work with and the enormous amount of autonomy I’m granted. I know my boss has my back 100% which allows me to do my job with confidence. I work with a group of talented, caring and supportive individuals, who come from all walks of life and have varying degrees of experience - I have learned so much from all of them. Q: What is your favourite thing to do on the weekends? A: SLEEP!!! I’m kind of joking. If the weather is bad, I love to curl up on the couch and binge watch my favorite TV shows/movie series and/or read a good book. If the weather is nice and the sun is out, I need to be outside. I’m either hiking, camping, playing beach volleyball/softball or just straight up suntanning. Q: What career advice would you give to your younger self? A: Try to work and surround yourself with people whose values align with your own. Gain as much experience and absorb as much information as you can from every job. Street knowledge is just as important as book knowledge and can’t be taught in a classroom – it only comes with experience. Also, success isn’t just measured by a salary and a title; it’s measured by who you are as a person and how you treat others. Never forget who you are, where you came from and the strength it took to get where you’re at. Q: What is a recent book or movie you would recommend? A: Everything Everywhere All at Once – it’s not recently released but it’s a movie that I would highly recommend. It’s weird, funny, action packed, emotionally charged; it’s a beautifully written/acted story about love and family. #MeettheTeam #HungerfordProperties
