In many places in Germany - due to traffic loads 🚗 and temperature fluctuations 🌡️ - our roads are cracking. A complete rehabilitation of the damaged sections is time-consuming, CO2-intensive and expensive. 💪😎 We took on this challenge back in 1996 and rehabilitated Rosenstrasse in Ochtrup, Germany. Instead of milling out the base and binder course, we placed our HaTelit asphalt reinforcement directly on the cracked binder. The success is impressive: Even after almost 30 years, the road is still in excellent condition❗ ❌ Picture 2 shows the poor condition of Rosenstrasse in 1996 ✅ Image 3 shows the excellent condition of the road in 2020 💡 The use of bitumen-coated PET grids has demonstrably proven itself as an alternative rehabilitation measure - technically, economically and ecologically.
