With an ultimate capacity of 110 million passengers a year, the new airport will quadruple the capacity of Bole International Airport. A critical element of Ethiopian Airlines’ 15-year strategic plan to become one of the most competitive aviation groups in the world, the state-of-the-art airport will revolutionise air travel in Ethiopia and cement the country’s position as the crossroads of the world’s most rapidly expanding air travel markets.
