Today, on National Latina Day, we have a unique opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exceptional contributions of Latinas in our communities and workplaces. Take a moment to acknowledge and support the Latinas who have made an impact in your life, whether as mentors, colleagues, or leaders. The support we extend today reflects our commitment to fostering a strong, empowered network of Latina professionals. It’s essential that we continue to elevate, sponsor, and mentor one another, ensuring that the next generation receives the guidance and support they need to thrive. Let’s embrace this day as a reminder of our collective strength and potential. Together, we are powerful. Somos poderosas! #NationalLatinaDay #LatinaProfessionals #Latinas #Latina
Here’s to the most underrepresented minority group in corporate America. 🥂 The talent in this group goes frequently overlooked. If DEI is truly embraced, why do we rarely see Latin/Hispanic women in leadership and executive positions? If Latinos make up 20% of the US population, why doesn’t it reflect in corporate American leadership?
Truth be told, I've always been proud of my Latina heritage, and learning today there's a National Latina Day? I appreciate the day and sentiments, knowing how hard our Latina role models worked to be seen and respected. I celebrate my first manager, mi mama ~ Estela Alicia Leiva de Ortega, who emigrated at 24 yrs old to marry my 1st generation U.S. born Mexican dad. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and true partner with my father in starting a small business from nothing...raising 5 children...a fierce advocate for one child with IDD and limited supportive resources with no more than an 8th grade education in Mexico. Love to hear the stories from others!
Recognition is nice - let’s also get PAID!
We are so fun, smart, sassy! ❤️ Congrats sisters. ✨
Shoutout to all the Latinas breaking barriers!! - 60% are first-gen - 47% have immigrant parents - 26% have a college degree - 13% hold a bachelor’s - 6% earned a master’s - 1% earned a doctorate

Cheers to those that came before us, those with us today, and to those who will stand on our shoulders!
As a first-generation Latina woman, I want to thank Elsa Zambrano, whom I admired from afar early in my career and now call a friend/mentor. Seeing a successful Latina woman in Corporate America with a fantastic leadership style and passion for talent has inspired me for many years. Happy #NationalLatinaDay
