I've been thinking a lot about Priori's inclusion in Chambers' 2024 New Law Guide for Flexible Legal Staffing. It's a huge accomplishment to be in the guide, alongside so many companies that I respect deeply, and I'm so proud of my team and grateful to all of our clients and lawyers whose testimonials about their experience working with us are the reason that we were listed. Thank you. That said -- staffing is only a piece of what Priori does. Flexible talent services are a core part of our offerings, for sure, and flexible talent is an invaluable part of any law department's strategy for flexing up and down as needs change, covering medical leaves and headcount gaps, and managing short-term projects where permanent headcount doesn't make sense. Our mission, though, is so much bigger. We are part of a revolution of boutique firm talent. So many legal departments we work with have a bimodal distribution of work -- on one hand, their Am Law 200 firm partners and on the other, their ALSPs and staffing firms. But there is an opportunity to redistribute work to boutique firms who often have the same expertise (and you get to work with the expert, not their associate) as the biggest firms at a fraction of the price, and they are hungrier for the work. That could be because you need local counsel somewhere you don't have a relationship but also because you've matrixed your legal work and realized that there is a lot of medium-low risk/complexity work that you're wildly overpaying for. That's Priori's mission and our marketplace model. To connect companies with the right lawyers, regardless of whether it is a one-for-one replacement (i.e. flex talent) or outside counsel, just done better.
