Happy Worker's Day! May this day bring you rest and reflection. Regardless of how you define 'work'—whether paid, voluntary, or in service, by choice or design—may you take this day to reflect on your contributions to yourself, your family, your community, and even those you've unknowingly touched. Let's refresh our perspectives on 'work' and, as Mother Teresa suggests, let's be happy to do it. #boundlesswisdom #boundlessleadership

Diversity & Inclusion Advisor | Author of Amazon bestseller 'Working Parents-to-be' | Speaker | Facilitator - helping businesses support working parents and developing their gender balance and wider inclusion strategies
Another great piece of coverage for the launch of 'Working Parents-to-be' - Mandy Garner interviewed me and I'm grateful she's picked up on two big themes: 1) The role of line managers - and in particular how important their role is in defining whether someone has a good or bad experience, and how often their fear of saying or doing the wrong thing can make the difference, when they are simple strategies to overcome this 2) The risk of assumptions being made - on both sides. One of my tag lines has become - 'if you take nothing away from this session, take this!' - both to individuals and their managers. It's so easy to do when someone is going on parental leave - assume they don't want that stretch project, can't work different hours, don't want to be contacted....the list goes on. In reality, you don't know unless you ask... Practical Inspiration Publishing, Ben Cameron
