It looks quite innocent and playful when a father plays with his 3-4 year old daughter that only if you kiss me I’ll give you this lollipop. But if we go deeper, we see that if such instances happen regularly, the child believes that he/she needs to please the adult to get chocolate. Haven’t we heard of instances where children are lured using the exact same tactic to kidnap or abuse them? This is also conditioning them to ‘conditional love’ which can reflect in their future adult relationships. ✨Some interactions which we have with our children which looks fun can actually leave negative impact on children’s belief system. Dear parents, be aware and be careful of your interactions with your child as some playful incidents can impact negatively. PS.: It’s okay to sometimes play with our children in the way I mentioned in the video. It’s only if you keep playing such games regularly, the child may believe that the relationship you share with him/her is conditional. #parenting #unconditionallove #emotions #parentcoach

🎈 GENTLE PARENTING 🎈 . . . I read that when you take away devices and let children be bored. They figure out a way to be creative and entertain themselves. Here is a slow motion video of my kids playing at a friend's babyshower party. There were no other kids their age there, so they were pretty much left to their own devices. The objective, which they came up with on their own, was to hit the helium balloon with their paper plate. In games concept theory, it's a striking game involving a ball. Great training and fun for motorskills development and developing hand-eye coordination and dexterity. As parents, when we are consistent with the non-device exposure, children will learn to innovate and build memories they will remember for life. It will not be another "device playing" party to keep them pacified. I must admit, it's not easy. And requires conditioning. Often screaming and crying tantrums, but it takes time.
