It's Mental Health Awareness Week - and this year, the theme is Movement. Physical activity is one of the most important things we can do for our mental health - and yet it is so easily overlooked when the working day gets busy. Movement helps boost mental health in the following ways: 😁 Improves mood through the release of endorphins 🔥 Increases energy levels 🙏 Reduces stress 😴 Improves sleep quality Recognising the incredible benefits of movement, Leonid holds quarterly 'health months' where we encourage everyone to increase their physical activities - and for every workout, we plant a tree via Tree-Nation. Of course, movement should not be restricted to once a quarter, but making this a friendly competition four times a year has helped us all to maintain ongoing good habits.
