Living with Panic Attacks and Anxiety Navigating life with panic attacks and anxiety is a journey that many of us are silently enduring. Living with anxiety and panic attacks means facing unpredictability and managing intense moments that can strike without warning. It’s a constant battle of mine to maintain composure and productivity, especially when im at work (wearing the mask). Despite these struggles, I try to lead a normal life as much as I can... Here are a few things that help me 1. Open Communication: Being honest with my employer and colleagues about my condition has created a supportive work environment where I feel understood and valued. 2. Mindfulness and Self-Care: Practicing mindfulness, taking regular breaks, and prioritising self-care are essential for managing stress. 3. Seeking Professional Help: Regular therapy and sometimes medication ( Propranolol ) are crucial in managing my symptoms effectively. To everyone out there dealing with similar challenges, know that you are not alone. It’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to take things one step at a time. Let’s continue to support each other in creating a work environment that values and understands mental health. Together, we can foster a culture of empathy and resilience.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words. Indeed, this is a topic often considered taboo both in the workplace and in everyday life. It is an battle I have grappled with for the past decade. Despite being perceived as loud and confident, I am perhaps the last person one would expect to struggle with this—but often, reality is quite the opposite. I sincerely hope we can foster a more open dialogue around this subject and acknowledge that in a world where we are all becoming more aware, it is perfectly acceptable not to be okay. We must remember that everyone is fighting their own battles. Have a great day 💙

Its so important to share what you're going through. So many people think mental health is 'taboo' or are ashamed to share with their friends or employers. But the truth is... everyone is going through something, and you'll be surprised by the support you get. Great post, and I hope this will inspire others. 👏🏼

You have my support, I started peri menopause as we went into lockdown, unexplained panic attacks, anxiety, crying. There was no help apart from my amazing husband. It's so important to talk and be honest x
