Under this innovative scheme, customers of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank can now avail treatment facilities for up to six family members at an unbelievably affordable rate of just Rs 1 per day. 👉 The initiative kicks off with a generous offer for existing account holders, who will enjoy three months of complimentary treatment for their families. Following this grace period, they will continue to receive medical care for six family members at a nominal charge of Re 1 per day. 👉 This initiative prioritizes convenience and accessibility by deploying dedicated medical professionals, including doctors and ANMs, to ensure prompt healthcare services. Currently, 56 M-Swasth centers have been established in Muzaffarpur, equipped with online facilities for added convenience. 🙌 Patients can expect prompt medical attention within 24 hours of reaching out for assistance. The CEO of M-SWASTH Solutions Pvt Ltd, Neeraj Maheshwari highlighted the significance of this initiative, which was launched on Basant Panchami. 👉 The program not only offers immediate relief but also provides a sustainable solution to healthcare challenges. Healthcare institutions often struggle to operate efficiently due to limited access to resources. But, with the right support, they can thrive. Something similar happened in Madhya Pradesh when 181 healthcare centres received a helping hand through the Madhya Pradesh Health System Strengthening Project. The project had a simple yet powerful plan: to improve daily operations, empower frontline workers, and embrace digital tools. For this responsibility, the state trusted Collectives for Integrated Livelihoods Initiatives (CInI), an organisation supported by the Tata Trusts. CInI's team helped streamline processes, upskill the local doctors, and adopt technology in daily operations. They organised wellness activities with ASHA workers and Community Health Officers to improve the community's healthcare-seeking behaviour. Gradually their efforts bore fruits. The efficiency and high-quality healthcare offered by the Centers assured the communities that care is within reach. Pahle India Foundation (PIF) has been actively working on preventing lead poisoning as part of the National Lead Poisoning Elimination Initiative. An important aspect of our program has been convening roundtable discussions to bring #academics, #scientists, #government officials, #doctors, and public health experts to discuss the challenges and ongoing prevention steps in resolving the problem. Last week we hosted the Fourth Roundtable in #Hyderabad titled ‘Lead Poisoning in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana: Challenges and Way Forward’ which was attended by 30 sector #experts. The discussion was chaired by Mr. Indu Bhushan, Former CEO of Ayushman Bharat. These clinics provide comprehensive primary healthcare services, including outpatient care, family planning, and maternal and child health services, all under one roof. Additionally, they leverage community health volunteers and pilot a sustainable financial insurance model in partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, ensuring quality healthcare for a nominal annual fee.   This blog, through stories like Ram's, highlights the impact of Amrit Clinics. Ram, a 30-year-old from district Pali, Rajasthan, beat silicosis and tuberculosis through affordable and effective treatment at the Amrit Clinic. It also enabled him to secure government compensation and support his family. There have been several innovations and policy introductions to support this. To name a few, the setting up of the National Health Mission has improved the availability of #medicalequipment and devices. The availability of affordable #genericmedicines, affordable access through #AyushmanBharat to 55 crore Indians: almost 40 per cent of the population in the lower economic segment, providing coverage of upto Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care #hospitalisations are some of the other significant measures. Recently, the government announced its decision to extend #healthinsurance to all #Indiancitizens above the age of 70, raising the bar on #healthcare equity
